Hon Lt Col STEVEN BASALIZA MWESIGE-Director
Steven is a former Member of Parliament (MP) for Burahya County in Kabarole District. He was a Member of the Natural Resources Committee, the Sessional Committee of Parliament and the Budget Standing Committee. He is a founder member of the Revenue Protection Services (Anti- Smuggling Unit) and currently he is the Deputy Chief of Pensions and Gratuity in the Uganda Peoples’ Defence Forces (UPDF). He holds a Masters Degree in Human Rights and a Bachelors Degree in Economics of Makerere University Kampala. He is a graduate of the Senior Command and Staff College, Kimaka and has attended the prestigious African Centre for Strategic Studies under the American University. His experience will enhance the NEMA, as we establish the Environment Protection Services. |
